Is there a way to upload old EA backtests and their settings on MT5?


If I leave my computer on standby at night, will the EA work?

In MT5 Tester backtests are stored in files that you can save immediately and later load as you wish. 

If the backtests were not saved, unfortunately, there is no direct way in MT5 to retrieve them retroactively. Once a backtest is closed without saving, MT5 does not store it permanently in any accessible file.

 
Hi, I am trying to run backtests on a trading bot (<name of the product was deleted by moderator>) that I have already purchased. Unfortunately, all results are "no trades". What am I doing wrong? I have contacted the developer, but hasnt been able to offer  a solution so far. Can you help please? Thank you.

1. Increase backtest period
2. Look in the Log

The reason of "no trades" usually is very simple, like tight filters or strict rules on spread.
