skipped as no symbol found

Hello,

I began my subscription to the signal "[name redacted by moderator]” on October 14th and have noticed issues with the providers currency pair symbols. More specifically, the provider’s broker adds the suffix “p” to their currency pairs in which my terminal has to do/request a symbol conversion. For example, the signal’s broker uses EURUSDp and my broker uses EURUSD+. Yesterday (Oct 16th), this conversion did *NOT* execute properly which resulted in my positions *NOT* being able to sync with the provider’s positions. Here is a snippet from my MT4 log file:

1 08:45:01.690 '510834325': Signal - #298844125 buy 0.11 EURUSDp at 1.08428 skipped as no symbol found
1 08:45:05.190 '510834325': Signal - #298406546 buy 0.02 EURUSDp at 1.10861 tp: 1.09050 skipped as no symbol found
1 08:45:15.159 '510834325': Signal - #298844125 buy 0.11 EURUSDp at 1.08428 tp: 1.09050 skipped as no symbol found
1 08:45:15.378 '510834325': Signal - #298814135 buy 0.17 EURUSDp at 1.08756 tp: 1.09050 skipped as no symbol found

After noticing this discrepancy, I restarted the MT4 terminal and the conversion did execute properly:

0 13:10:40.193 '510834325': Signal - symbol EURUSDp mapped to EURUSD+

I would like to ask if the symbol conversion is an issue with the MQL5 service or with my broker’s server configuration? Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated as it is financially dangerous to have MQL5 randomly sync positions from the provider. Thank you in advance!

You need to use the same broker since your + suffix doesn't match with the p suffix of the signal provider.
