Your ping is great, so you will improve your copying by using MQL5 VPS.
But you need to understand that copying scalping strategies in fast moving markets is always a challenge and you will probably see differences in your results and the opening and closing prices of your copied trades, compared to the orginal signal trades, especially if these trades are performed in times of high volatility.
@Eleni Anna Branou
Will the price difference be significant when copying a scalping strategy? For example, if the trader opened a position at 2486.21 and closed it at 2486.40, making a profit of 2.85 euro, is there a possibility that I could end up with a loss in such trades, even considering the VPS, low ping, and the fact that we use the same broker? He use 1:500 levier and 0.15 vol/trade. - Me - Same.

You will need to check that in action, but a trade going for only 20 points in gold is not easy to copy identically.
I understand. Is very bad to make test with real money :(

Hello, I’m not sure if I’m posting in the correct category, but I need some help.
I’m new to copying trading signals and I have a few questions about the process. I found a trader who uses an EA for scalping on XAUUSD. We have the same broker, but on different servers (I’m on ICMarketsSC-MT5-4 / and him ICMarketsSC-MT5-2 ). I plan to buy a VPS from here soon to improve performance.
I talked to the trader, and he told me that it should be fine as long as I have the same broker and use a VPS from here. I’m not looking to get exactly the same profit as him, but I want to be as close as possible to his performance. In MT5, my VPS shows a ping of 0.60 ms between the VPS and the broker’s server. Do you think this ping is low enough to ensure fast and accurate execution of copied trades?
I noticed some information in the slippage section (Attached img). How does slippage affect the performance of copied trades? Is the difference in servers an important factor to consider? Are there any other technical aspects I should be aware of to ensure my results will be similar to the trader’s?
I appreciate any advice or recommendations. Thank you!
