VPS not working when computer is off
You are checking the local MT5 terminal's journal when you should check the MQL5 VPS Journal, so right click on your MQL5 VPS subscription in the Navigator window >> Journals to see if everything was migrated properly.

I think I have migrated 1 EA and 1 chart successfully, which is XAUUSD, please see attached. My theory ATM is that it will auto trade gold if I close my computer down, but only gold and not any other forex pairs, AUD/CAD etc, because that chart has not been migrated. Would this be a correct assumption?

If you have migrated XAUUSD only, I guess your EA will work only on that.
If you have migrated XAUUSD only, I guess your EA will work only on that. has advised against loading the EA on multiple charts. But it seems I would have to do that to get the charts to the VPS

Yes, if you turn your computer off now, this XAUUSD chart with the EA that is attached on it, it will trade normally in your MQL5 VPS.

I have purchased a VPS so I don't need to keep my computer on 24/7 for an EA o execute trades. I have successfully migrated the accounts, Charts, signals etc and the VPS is running. However when I test this by closing my computer the trades do not execute?
I am not technically astute with IT so san somebody explain in really, really simple language and instructions what I need t do to make it work.
