maldditu: I did 3 cents in the first 24h selling my PC resources on Metatester 5. I have 16 agents, which is according to my 16 cores CPU (Ryzen 9 7950X3D + 64GB RAM). Is there something wrong or is this profit the real (and sad) reality for everyone?

That is completely normal for everyone.

So, what is the point of using Metatester 5 Agents?

I read the instructions and thought I could make some extra income (even though it was little), taking advantage of the fact that I already leave my PC on 24 hours a day.

Is there any other reason to sell my machine processing other than some kind of profit? It's a legitimate question.

For those that need such a resource for speeding up their optimisations, the advantage of using and purchasing MQL5 Network Cloud resources, is obvious and clear.

For those that want to offer the resource for hire, then that is only an advantage if it covers the cost and offers an acceptable profit, which in my opinion, is not the case.

Not really!

Unless your electricity and internet costs are cheap, and your computer hardware cost was very low, and you don't have much use for the extra computing power, then what you will get for it will be some petty pocket change.

Other than that, you will be running at a loss in most cases.
