Hello everyone.
Have you passed it too or you just realize? Do you have some data you can share which can prove that they passed challenge using same EA? there can be many fake claims on internet.
Hello everyone.
Based on the realization there are sellers who present certificates which when scanned are not in their name , or , just generic graphics , id say the answer is they dont work.
Its just another keyword
The vast majority of those products to pass prop-firm challenges are useless and I would go as far as calling them "fakes".
If they were real and worked, then the authors themselves, would be using them to make a very good income trading with prop firms themselves, and not resorting to aggressive and flashy advertising (and even spamming) about their claims of their product.
Please consider which section is most appropriate — https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/172166/page6#comment_49114893
Yes, if it is a legit prop-firm and they detect too many users trading in the same way, especially if it is an EA (which they can detect), they will probably reach out to the traders.
However, in my opinion, I believe this will not happen much, simply because if the "traders" are unable to meet the challenge themselves on their own merits, and have to use a Market product to do it, then they also lack the knowledge and skill to use it properly and will end up failing anyway, never moving on to the funded state.
Thanks for the replies.
Heres another philosophical aspect of the matter .
If most prop firms don't allow that then isn't the ea seller a scammer by default ?
Not in the usual sense of the term , i.e. scamming the buyer , but in the sense they are providing tools per a direct violation of a prop firm's terms.
(I'm adding the direct keyword because then you can argue if someone makes money with your ea and then they buy a gun and then they shoot someone ... etc)
For instance a bank says come through the door show your id and deposit or withdraw money . These are the bank's rules . If someone is selling vault security bypass devices isn't he illegal?

If a lot of people hit the stone with a hammer, it will break fast. So if lots of copy trading happens, the EA will stop functioning very soon and unexpected results will come. If such EA where there are hundred or more copy traders are following, will open the opportunity for big boys to track and hunt their SL as it will be easy prey for them.
Methods which are using martingale or layer / scaled order system may surpass that problem so such EA wont be affected as it dont hit the stone at a same time.
