ICT SmartMoney:) - page 4

I found the whole FVG a little comical because of the fact of the whole cult like mentality around this guy and the results I got from coding and FVG ea. So I took someones some-what fairly accurately coded FVG Strategy, coded it to make it a little better I think and then ended up pouring a lot of hours into this algo to try and get it to produce a decent optimization which is kind of hilarious because you can almost always get some sort of good optimization even with the most basic ema cross strategy for sake of argument and yet no matter what I did i couldn't get this hunk of junk to produce anything worth while, what a complete waste of time lol.

His analysis, method and reasoning are TRUE and GENEUIE. I can plainly say that. However, the implementation can be difficult for inexperienced traders.

ICT 2022 mentorship is the one you need to start. He can explain his key concepts there and with an excellent reasoning. Then 2023 mentorship and 2024 mentorship series must be watched.

Financial markets-  guys  - do not  operate in a the way you think.

Regarding ICT, everyone has a different opinion. It is certainly a theory that no one had previously explained in such detail concerning the strategies used by institutional players and large banks. It seems to me that, to date, no EA has been correctly developed based on this theory, making it difficult to objectively determine whether it works or not. After studying the method, whether valid or not, I don’t particularly recall a detail, and I ask if anyone can remind me when, in terms of time, during which hours of the day large banks use their trading systems based on trading time. Unfortunately, I can't remember the specific times now and can no longer find this information, so I ask if anyone can better recall these moments when, according to him, banks use their temporal algorithms. I have only one additional piece of information derived from " direct" knowledge: among others, there are trading systems that activate at the 80 levels (in addition to the classic round numbers 50 and 100), and frequently, significant reactions and unidirectional movements start from these, particularly at the first touch of the level during the day. Can anyone help me remember ? Thank you. Have profit in your trading,   with or without ICT theory.Regards

I would agree, he has his strategy, and I don't know why people hate on him. Imagine being hated just for having a unique strategy. It might not work for some people but I'm sure it worked for him, not always, but enough times for him to take it seriously.

What you're talking about are oscillator based trading systems. Stochastic/RSI/DPO

Some go from -100 to 100 like CCI.
Stochastic seems to be weaker for giving false signals, all indicators can give false signals, but RSI can be good 70% of the time
