Do you trade or have you ever traded “Boom” and “Crash”? - page 3

Tiofelo Teles #: You are not wrong, for sure the bars are not the same size. Analyzing the structure, I could also notice that there are gaps, however very small.

Why do you expect the bars to be of the same size?

The gaps are to be expected, given that a spike or drop can happen at the opening of a bar too, and can be large.

I don’t see any of this as being unforeseen, given the nature of these symbol.

You should look at them as being "mathematical" in nature, and not as the other normal symbols.

  1. There is more than one broker, but they are related.
  2. The other side is taken by the broker. In other words, it's a dealing-desk situation.

In this case, it is not sustainable. If you clear out the house, the house will stop you.

I still don't know enough about these symbols to be able to argue your point. You may be correct, but the broker may simply be making a profit from the spread and/or from the larger percentage of traders losing money instead of gaining a profit.

They are obviously aware of the mathematics of how the symbols are generated, and just like a casino, they have the edge with that knowledge. Even if there is a percentage of traders that can beat that edge, there are also a great many traders that cannot.

From my experiences and observations trading Boom & Crash (I call it B&C) can be awesome for a fully technical Trader. But, scalping with it can be dangerous (it's a win and lose).

So far, that has been my observations. At the moment there is not enough trading going on to be able to influence the symbols behaviour. It is still mostly governed by its underlaying statistical nature.

So, any kind of "logic" based on human bias on trading or psychological tendencies, or "big money", that one sees on symbols that are heavily traded, such as "support & resistance", "accumulation and distribution", etc., will most likely have little success. At least not at the moment when there is still not enough traders to be able to influence and "move" the the quote prices based on their trading volume.

That has been my observation so far based on Boom 300, so I would expect a similar behaviour on the others.

Did I not request for no one to mention or discuss the brokers by name?

Did I also not request that no EAs or such be discussed if not open source?

Please be so kind as to delete your post, as most of it is not even related to the topic on hand.

EDIT: I'm doing my best to keep this thread clean and not violate any forum rules, but your post is making it difficult for the moderators to not end up deleting it.
