Brokers like Otkritie or BCS used to block options trading on an account that had MT5 connected to it, but how are things now?

My advice is to collect smiles, that's all you need. They can already be converted into a quote for any option. The story itself is very "liquid" and there are a lot of holes. But if you find a way to fill these holes or the data for 17, I will be grateful if you share

I suggest that in this thread we discuss general trading issues using stock options.
Please do not confuse this with forex binary options.
Whoever brings up binary options, I suggest expressing universal contempt and writing complaints to moderators to apply restrictions.
Although MT5 does not provide access to options, the MT5 help does .
Many (who are interested) I think have adapted, to use MT5 features to access options.
Objective of the branch:
- To implement real options trading through MT5,
- to implement testing of option strategies as close to a real one as possible, theory is good, but practice is better,
- Discussion of profitable option strategies,
- Practical implementation of option strategies, code examples,
- This is the place to ask questions from beginners, hoping that more experienced traders will share their experience.
The objectives are of course nouveau-naïve but hopefully this topic will lead to many more narrowly focused topics about stock options.
