I haven't had a beer for 3.5 months now and I've given up completely.... before that more than 10 years without a single day...occasional day-max two breaks... 6-7 bottles/day minimum...not much but constant....
ps: and that's on top of other even worse addictions.....;)
Pss: I quit and I didn't feel much of a difference... but I have to do my license again... I have to take tests... so I can't drink...

Fucking not much, I'd die from such doses. Once it was a very hot summer and I was drinking 2-3 cups a day at a nearby summer café in the evening. After 2-3 weeks I started getting liver pains, though I hadn't complained before. I stopped drinking and it went away immediately.
