Please add "hotkeys" = keyboard control to MT4, many people have already asked for it.
For example F5 - Update, Spacebar - Pause/Play Tester in Visualisation mode, etc.

You will need to use the documentation for both MQL4 and MQL5 languages.

In my opinion, it is absolutely the right decision. The four no longer corresponds to modern realities, so its modification is extremely urgent. Five will gradually conquer the market in its segment (stock exchange).

It is the two platforms that are needed (1 - netting, 2 - locking).

The announcement does not say anything about improving trade order execution. The list of questions to which we would like to hear the answers:

- will there be an asynchronous mode for placing orders on 4;

- whether the speed of orders processing by MT4 server will change;

- if the internal slider will be available on the 4th;

- if there will be a trade API;

- Do you plan to eventually make DMA (Direct Market Access) mode - direct access to the market.

On points:

  • asynchronous operations will most likely be
  • the server processing speed is amazing (up to 10000 transactions per second easily, although some brokers outright lie about the problems), the delay of the first deal to open the trade thread will be gone (it will be like in MT5)
  • the slider without volumes will be (look at how the last MT5 made the slider for instruments without broadcast volumes)

Each system stays different. Trade functions are specific parts of languages.

Renat, why don't you try to make a PACKAGE sending of requests? So that you can send orders for different currencies in one order. After all, sequential processing, even at good speed, is sequential processing.

Asynchronous sending is essentially batch sending, as the time loss between sending is zero.

In MQL5 asynchronous sending simply moves the request to a separate queue and returns control immediately, while the actual sending is handled by another network thread.
