What a story with contests, talk shows, video clips, etc. could have been spun by the producer around those comments...
Too bad they don't have much sense of humour, such material would be lost.
 
What I'm most excited about is the RS232 control. Any long-time residents who remember what it is? ))

A lot of 5-10-15 year old equipment is in use, and it's not going to die out.

And they work well and will continue to do so for a long, long time.

For example, two satellite tuners are linked via RS232, and work on one card. For eight years now they have been keeping both the old and the young happy - everyone is watching their favourite channel.
