the original algorithm opens e.g. 1 lot, the copier takes an additional 0.1 lot (or recalculates it his way). The original deal closes, the copier's deal closes too.

the whole point of copying with reduced lot and martingale (or other games with volume) - to take away spread from (option: only) unsuccessful trades of the original.
Thus, total P reduces to 0.5 and in theory equity should hang around 0. But in practice it cannot be exactly done and equity will slowly but increase. On any algorithm of the original
