khorosh:
There are no sensible economists, lawyers are in power. We cannot expect an economic miracle from them. And until the situation worsens, the people will not vote against a change of power. And then there is the statutory fund, until it is spent, it may take a long time before the regime changes. The military and the police got raises, pensioners are not poor, so there are enough votes for the present authorities. There is only hope for the opposition to stir up the people, although this is unlikely.

The statutory fund has long been a mouthful.

It will be cut up in no time.

Wow!

mersi:
Whoa!
Yes, the Unicorns got what they deserved.

khorosh:
Yes, the Unicorns got what they deserved.
Bullshit, he's just a yapper and...

MetaDriver:
You (both of you) just don't understand the power of the genetic algorithm.
Exactly, where does this power come from, by whom, or do you believe in super-randomness?

No, of course, there are no super-accidents. It's all the fault of (18).

How is the ISC still holding up under pressure (18)?

MetaDriver:
Вы (оба) просто не врубаетесь в мощность генетического алгоритма.

yosuf:

1. Exactly,

2. where this power comes from,

3. by whom it's embedded or

4. believe in super-randomness?

1. OK.

2. She's always been here.

3. Nobody.

4. Yeah. Super randomness rules. Paired with selection and co-evolution (mutual learning).

MetaDriver:

1. OK.

2. She's always been here.

3. Nobody.

4. Yep. Super randomness rules. Paired with selection and co-evolution (mutual learning).

Any more details?

yosuf:
I don't believe in the terrestrial origin of life, there are too many patterns to make up and implement in a mere 5 billion years. Apparently a capsule of basic regularities has been dropped, at least the genetic ones, nothing else. Suppose physically life could have appeared by chance, but what about the logic of that life, which is no less complex than life itself, don't you think?
I am not ashamed to state publicly that I believe in a Creator, but I am not a follower of any known religion. Moreover, we homosapiens are neither the first nor the last on the surface of the earth. It is too early to understand "the logic of this life" - we are only a hundred years old when we got down from the horse, but we consider ourselves the crown of creation and crave extraterrestrial contact.
By the way, do you know why in all sci-fi movies aliens are bloodthirsty and strong and humans are weak, but witty and clever? Because it's actually the other way around. And it's not our fault.
Life on our planet is designed in such a way that all living things eat all living things, which means that in order to prolong your own life you have to end someone else's. We are stupidly dangerous creatures by nature.

If one eats meat, most people eat the meat of animals that have already been killed, rather than eat them alive. And they don't kill them themselves. That is, they do not accumulate the karma of killing (the karma of interruption of consciousness). Meat is just a piece of dead matter and nothing more. And if a man is a humanist, no one forbids using only vegetable food, there's no killing there. Except for eating a worm along with an apple because of carelessness.

But if a man is a fisherman or a hunter... That's a good place to start! (that is, get it over with)
