This is how one of the active defence systems works. the aim is to create a cloud of opaque aerosol to counteract the laser and thermal guidance systems of anti-tank weapons.

When I was an engineer, for fun, I tried to calculate the collision of lead-filled copper bullet with concrete wall reinforced with dense mesh of steel rods.... It looked simply impressive in dynamics (I took the perspective of the plane, dissecting the wall and the bullet)! Wish I'd had a chance to get the muwik out when I left work.
