Is the tester working correctly ? - page 2

A widespread error. It is particularly nasty, because it opens many orders. The point is that usually on the next tick (which has not opened a new bar), the conditions for opening a new order triggered again. And your EA does not know that it has just opened an order again. We need to set a flag or something like a new order has just been opened and it cannot be opened again.

Oh,no,that's not what this is about..... I check if order was opened before opening
if(OrdersTotal()==0) if it was, the expert won't try again... :))

It looks like your eXpert opens an order on one tick, closes it on the next tick and opens it again. See if there is a case where both the open and close conditions are met.

Try going through all the tics and following the eye movements, you'll find the answer.
I had that too - observation helped.

Everything looks very similar that bar opening testing is being used.

Make sure all timeframes are downloaded, "Recalculate" is ticked and check again please.
Also, what are the orders with the green arrows? Please give their exact parameters.

Here is a very clear example

it means that the system calculates that the price went down in one minute by 140 pips ...

really waiting for an answer.... all testing has come to a standstill :(

And even if it did... still how can she do that.... the next example she catches profits on ticks at 140 p

Any questions - answer all of them please:
  1. Where did you get the graphs from?
  2. Did you do an external import?
  3. What is happening on other timeframes of this symbol?
  4. Have you checked with your eyes and synchronized other timeframes of this symbol from your trading server?
  5. Did you tick the "Recalculate" box when testing?
  6. Have you tested it on М1 or did you just switch to М1 after the test on another timeframe to see it better?
Looks like using a cached (or self cooked) tick history in the FXT file that the test is running on, and then displaying the test results on a normal M1 chart.

I got the charts from Alpari.
I downloaded them and put them in my history folder.
Everywhere except the daily charts the trades are hanging over the chart.
i've tried to use the same forex robot as i did on my real account. i've also tried the same forex robot on my real account. i got the same results.

Checked it myself :))
