OpenStorm, what is the build number of the client terminal and what server are you connecting to?
 
Build 195, server MetaQuotes-Demo. Problems were only on USDJPY, EA is connected to EURAUD
 

What code does GetLastError return?

(put a lot of checks after almost every line. It works only on usdjpy so far. Yesterday we tried the tester for all pairs, but nothing except error message when trying to open orders on different pairs (symbol unknown), which is normal for multicurrency mode in the tester :(

When will I get the feedback on my trading robot's suitability?

For the time being (until September 25th, 2006), the registration to the Championship is open only. In order to qualify, you must:
  • Register on the Automated Trading Championship 2006 website with confirmation via email
  • Obtain confirmation of your personal details from the moderator (Participants will not be allowed without the correct data)
  • Receive confirmation from the moderator that your Expert Advisor has been formally tested for compliance with the Championship rules
Test accounts (login, master and investor passwords) in championship group (with all trading restrictions) we will start issuing today to Participants who have confirmed their personal data. Participants will be able to test their Expert Advisors on these accounts by themselves right now. These accounts are temporary and will be deleted on September 25. Instead of them, the members will receive working accounts (login and investor password), on which the Expert Advisors located on our servers will trade.

We have already started checking these Expert Advisors. The Championship will start on October 1st, 2006.

(put a sea of checks after almost every line. So far only usdjpy has been tested. Yesterday we tried the tester on all pairs, nothing but errors when trying to open orders on foreign pairs (symbol unknown), which is normal for multicurrency mode in the tester :(

Bring it please:
  1. 5 lines before OrderClose() is called
  2. OrderClose string
  3. 5 lines after OrderClose() is called
It won't reveal your strategy at all, but it will let you know what's wrong. This is the fifth request in 3 days.

ps: just had a complete rewrite of one programmer's code today, who was sure he had "everything OK, it's been working fine for a week!". Good thing his code was looked at...
