Look at the spread on the minutes, I have a 382 point maximum recorded.
Holy shit spread.....

what is the reason for this chatter? i couldn't find anything in the economic news or the usual news that would cause this at 2.07am Moscow or 00.07am London.

Stops will not save in such cases, only sufficient free margin.

Example.

If we roughly assume that the low on midmarket was 1.20000 and the low on bid in my BC was at 1.50000, then the ask at the low point of the midmarket should have been 1.2 + (1.2 - 1.5) = 1.25000. Thus, the spread at that point reached 1.25 - 1.15 = 0.10000 (10000 pips new or 1000 old). It turns out that they covered almost this entire giant candle with it. However... The kitchens are clearly over-insured. That's not good of them. And at first I thought they were really down by 1100 pips, but it turns out they are only down by 600.

I haven't read any analysis on the subject yet, but this morning I saw in the ordinary news (for the people) that Mr Hollande said that Brexit should be hard, without special trade relations for the UK. Like, since they're not in the EU, so no privileges for them, just like for other countries that are NOT members of the EU. Anyway, the example of GB should be a case in point, so that others are not taught a lesson.

There have been hints of Brexit news in the news. Anyway, I like forex even less. Already overnight they have started to manipulate.

And liquidity on such a currency cannot disappear like that.

And maybe in such a case, a change of kitchen will save the day? As they say, a friend (enemy) is a friend in need.
Isn't it too much of a margin for them? It's not a fool's errand...

Well, there's a drop of 800 points here. But I think that figure is an exaggeration. It's still a more realistic figure of 600 pips.
