Believe me, if you don't know those rules, your assertions about the viability of TC without SL seem ridiculous indeed. The whole sticking point is these "rules". Everyone has their own rules, and not everyone is going to spell out their "finer points". What makes you think anyone else should know about this but me, you probably don't let other people into your bed, do you? It's personal, so these rules I've worked out and observed are also personal.
What if we place a trailing stop-loss order at the SL level, closing the position?
At lock -- positions are not closed, but they are taken out of the strategy.
If they are left open, there will be three things:
a) a negative swap of one of the loca direction will reduce funds
b) the point value can lead to decrease of funds
c) the collateral will stiffen your available funds.
That's why you cannot hold a lock indefinitely.

No one is hiding anything from anyone, my signals are still in the public domain as they were 3-5 years ago, even if some people find it ridiculous, what do I care? The main thing is not someone else's opinion, but my own results, and that's it!
