Discussion of article "How we developed the MetaTrader Signals service and Social Trading"

New article How we developed the MetaTrader Signals service and Social Trading has been published:

We continue to enhance the Signals service, improve the mechanisms, add new functions and fix flaws. The MetaTrader Signals Service of 2012 and the current MetaTrader Signals Service are like two completely different services.

Currently, we are implementing A Virtual Hosting Cloud service which consists of a network of servers to support specific versions of the MetaTrader client terminal. Traders will need to complete only 5 steps in order to rent the virtual copy of their terminal with minimal network latency to their broker's trade server directly from the MetaTrader client terminal. This will provide round the clock operation of the terminal where traders copy trades of signal providers.

Furthermore, we are planning to introduce even better statistics of signals and provide a new option for traders to form their own portfolio of signals.

I have two wishes for the service:

1. To upload the history of signal trades not only in reverse csv, but also as a standard MetaTrader report, which will make it possible to send such reports to popular analysis services without conversion.

2. If a provider has open losing trades and he refills his account at that moment, while a subscriber, of course, does not refill anything, then the balance ratio of the provider and subscriber changes, and the service partially closes losing trades of the subscriber, which is not always good and can be quite unexpected. It would be nice to issue a warning before closing trades or offer the subscriber to top up the account as well.

On the 5th of September we will release the beta of a completely rewritten signals system for MT4, where the conditions are more relaxed, you can have your own positions in parallel, the list of compatible signals for each account is different, etc.

We have revised the whole service and are releasing a very big upgrade.

That's great. We'll watch and try.

Very interested in the following:

1. Why on some signals, the history of funds is shown for the entire period of existence(top2 for MT5), while on other signals only for a small period: the last couple of days, months(top1 for MT5)?

2. Why is the minimum price of a monthly subscription 2 times higher than that of products on the market? Imho, it should be the other way round, as a product can be used for a very long time, while a subscription is only for a month, and, besides, the risks of subscription are much higher than buying an indicator. Is this issue to be discussed and should we expect any changes?

3. What prevents making MT5 signals available to MT4 subscribers? And do MQ intend to work in this direction?

1. history on funds - since the moment of adding to the monitoring. Look at the vertical line on the growth chart.

2. Because you can subscribe for a week (month/4) and it's only $5. Although, I also agree that this limit can be lowered.

I also support the opinion that it should be allowed to copy signals from MT5 for MT4 subscribers and vice versa. How will the service develop in this direction?
