I cannot create a demo account.  Metaquotes-Demo server ping time is less than 50ms.  I cannot ping updates.metaquotes.net.

What build number do you use?

Similar problem was solved in 412 build.

I have 411 build.  I'll try download again.
 
Sigh!.  The download site still has build 411.
 
The file mt5setup.exe file version says 420 build.  But after install, About says 411.
 
Which OS type is on your PC?
 
Windows Vista Home.

It works now on Build 421.  I had to delete terminal.exe and install over the existing folders.  The new build was applied.
