After I upload an EA to MQL5 VPS, if I open MT5 again, will the EA upload to MQL5 VPS again automatically?

Dear experienced traders,

After I upload an EA to MQL5 VPS, if I open MT5 again, will the EA upload to MQL5 VPS again automatically?

No, nothing is done automatically.

If you don't synchonize/migrate to your MQL5 VPS, you local trading setup doesn't affect the one that you've uploaded to your MQL5 VP server.

Thankyou for your reply, but my vps is an AWS VPS with amazon. How would i migrate my MT5 terminal with ea's to my AWS VPS?

you dont. they are encrypted and locked to your computer, so that will mean that your vps will use another activation -- and yes -- you will have to download them from mql5 marketplace -- again.

The alternate is to use mql5 vps, built into mt5. It does not use new activations. It is a little confusing to setup, but once setup correctly, it is more convenient to use than the other forms of vps.

But if you require dlls or do manual trading or need to see indicators on charts, then, this way is not suitable for you.

Thank you for your kind words.

If you are using MQL5 VPS yes, since your trading environment has been migrated to it.

If you are using non MQL5 VPS no, you should leave your MetaTrader terminal, charts, EAs and indicators all up and running and the 'Auto/Algo Trading' button clicked.
