MT4 issue

 

Hello,

I purchased and installed a custom indicator. It seemed to install correctly but when I input the product key when prompted nothing happened. I get a tone from my laptop and then nothing else. I contacted the person that developed the indicator and he tried via remote access to my laptop with the same results. He mentioned that he has seen this issue two times before and it has been caused by a firewall. I uninstalled the indicator from the platform, double checked that the platform was set up as required by the indicator, turned off the firewall and tried again. Everything seems to be fine until I enter the product key and then nothing. I was wondering if anyone may have an idea about what may cause this issue and how I might be able to get around it?
