How much slippage should I allow?

How much slippage should I allow when subscribing to signals?  5? 2.5? .5?  Any advice will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hi,

I don't allow more than 1 slippage. It depends on the signal too though. Because very short term traders might induce bigger slippages and if you don't allow a bit more, maybe you don't catch they trades. If it's a more longer term trader, you can use a very minimum difference I would say.
