Of course,"EMPTY" is not a valid symbol.

So, why the value of your symbol is still to "EMPTY" after running AddSymbolToMarketWatch() ?

i add the high lighted line and get this :

I mean : please do some efforts ! What do you think I do when I have a coding problem ? You have to find why your active_symbol variable equals "EMPTY".

You don't need an open market for that.
