An order book means nothing. Virtual SL/TP, Iceberg orders, even fake orders, volume that is not executed could mean anything. Why throw heavy computations against an order book?
I completely agree with you. I usually trade stocks, and do not use leverage. I calculate each security performance based on my actual positions before selling or buying. IMHO, indicators could improve my yield, but I am not sure about it yet.
Day trading could improve overall performance.
