Trading Cryptocurrency in MT5 using API?

Hi guys,

Want to open a crypto related topic.

Would be good to discuss MT5 possibilities to trade crypto using API. 

Lately, Metaquotes released a new MT5 build which supports some functions to ease a crypto trading.

Does it mean MT traders and forex investors are getting more interested in crypto?

 

There are many brokers are proposing the cryptocurrencies for trading in Metatrader 5, for example -

I just downloaded MT5 I am not sure how to pull up Cryptos

Where can I trade bitcoin though MT4?

There are some brokers for Bitcoin/USD for MT5 (I do not trade bitcoin for MT4 so I have no idea about MT4 broker for bitcoin):

  • But the brokers related discussion is prohibited on the forum.
  • Discussion/promotion/advertisement related to any external service is prohibited too.
  • Besides, MT5 client API is not available for public. 
For example, Gateway API allows brokers to connect MT5 with stock exchanges and liquidity providers (check this thread as an example), and it is good possibility for the brokers, and it is not related to us as the users of this forum.

I remember one article which as published this year about how to trade cryptocurrencies by Metatrader 5 directly from stock exchanges.
This article was good one, and it was more related to programming (about how to connect MT5 to ..) than trading.
But this article was deleted by the author ...
