When is the best time to get in a winning strategy

Lets say you want to start using a strategy or signal that its history shows its profitable. Is it wiser to start using it when its winning or when its experiencing a drawdown that's what the poll is asking.
 

After a drawdown usually the risk gets higher.

 
The risk is high indeed but also the earning can be quite so.
 
If the signal is profitable and you trust it then the best time to subscribe is simply now or as soon as possible. whether or not cycles exist depends on the nature of the signal .You could try and identify cycles of a strategy and time your subscription but the cycles might be an illusion. After all, if it's possible to identify cycles before they happen then the signal provider should be the one to improve his system.
