I got same problem too, am with Axitrader and did the steps you did too.
Stop receiving new since late April 2018

Using Sony XZ Premium with MT4 app.
On Demo account i get plenty of news, but on live account I get nothing at all.
I am with Axitrader.
I have reinstalled the app.
Rebooted Phone.
Tried speaking to Axitrader and get nowhere.
Can anyone advise further?
