Optimization problems

Hallo All,

I have a small problem when I optimise my EA.

1. Meta Trader Version 4 Build 1090

2. Computer not connected to internet.

3. EA run on "open prices only".

4. I run the EA on five pairs by only changing the PAIRS to be optimised.

5. I sort the results from High to Low for Profit before copy them to Excel.

6. When I run the EA again on the first pair best results are totally different from the first run.

7. Next I run the EA on one pair for three times back to back without changing anything and got three different results.

Now my question is anyone aware of this problem, because I would expect if I run the EA multi times without changing anything and on the same dataset, to get the same results.

Why did you post your MT4 question in the Root / MT5 General section instead of the MQL4 section, (bottom of the Root page?) General rules and best pratices of the Forum. - General - MQL5 programming forum I suspect #2 and #4 are contradictory. If you connect anytime (including between runs,) the spread used is the last known spread, unless you specifically specify a value on the form.
