Moving Average of Oscillators?

I've been looking at the long term trading strategies with bigger accounts and I was surprised I couldn't find an expert that does the following:

When the OsMA (Moving Average of Oscillators) crosses from negative to positive, it opens on the close of the candle (or the open of the next one) and closes the position when the OsMA crosses back the other way....

I'm almost sure something like this exists, can someone direct me to it?

wouldn't that be the same as the standard macd.... the osma has always appeared to me to be the macd histogram crossing it's signal line.....

when both the are plotted in the same window with differing colors the similarities appear......h
