That one is made for the new metatrader 4 (it will not work with build 509). When metatrader 4 "sees" files with ex4 extension that it can not recognize, then it deletes it. Those ex4 files can be used only in the new metatrader

Windows 7 and metatrader are having frequently some problems.
Here are some threads with some problems descriptions :Also, check where are actually your indicators stored. It might happen that they are not stored at \metatarder\experts\indicators folder at all but somewhere at c:\documents and settings\username\appllicationData\... and in that case you have to find the exact folder where they are stored,
In any case, if you have installed the metatraed to program files folder , reinstall it to some other folder (best to install it to partition different than c:) to avoid windows 7 "protection" mechanisms
