One more average ... - page 15

Snowski:
mladen,

When you have some time, can we look at this idea: make the bands of oma-envelopes based on atr?

At current indicator, the bands are 'fixed' according to settings in the indicator.

I'd like to keep those settings, but I'd love to see what happens if the bands would be widened/narrowed by ATR.

Hope this makes sense.

Cheers, Snow

Snow

Here you go. Use AtrPeriod and Atr multipliers for bands

Hi Mladen, think you could possibly add multitimeframe to this? Thanks so much!!

Was already working on multi time frame version of it when you posted so here it is.

Happy trading

Inverse Fisher transform of oma RSI

This is an inverse fisher transform of one more average RSI indicator.

As John Ehlers tells "The result of using the Inverse Fisher Transform is that the output has a very high probability of being either +1 or –1. This bipolar probability distribution makes the Inverse Fisher Transform ideal for generating an indicator that provides clear buy and sell signals" so it makes the indicator itself a it easier to use when buy/sell signals are concerned

Still the rule that since one more average is adaptive, it is probably better to use somewhat longer RSI periods, stands. Also, in this one even the post smoothing is done by one more average, so this is a sort of "all one more average" type indicator

Fisher transform of one more average RSI

To conclude the one more average RSI series for now : this is a Fisher transform of one more average RSI

The Fisher transform emphasizes the RSI values and that way gives a bit easier readings for overbought and over sold levels. Made multi time frame already (as it is obvious from the example picture)

Kaufman AMA - price filtered oma

Kaufman adaptive moving average with one more average used for pre-filtering.

Frankly, this is the version I like the most eben though the other versions I posted today have their merits too (it is a subjective judgement from visual inspection though). For some more details about the whole idea please read this post : https://www.mql5.com/en/forum . Pitty that I can not make that kind of gradient coloring for metatrader 4 because then it would be close to what I imagine that this indicator should serve for, but I hope that even with "just" slope coloring it is useful

PS: stopping spamming with Kaufman ama pre-filtered versions Enough of it for one day
