I have subscribed to several of the RAS signals offered by Janus Trading over the past 5 months....I have made money with all of them. This includes some signals running on an IBFX account. I continue to trade several of the systems to this day, and they are still making money. To me I was only interested in profitable systems and thats precisely what is being offered by Janus Trading. I take things as I find them.....and for me this makes money, more money than my own trading.

sometimes it is necessary to "know", who is making what statement.
As you could have easily researched, i am a system vendor at RAS with several very successful systems, which are traded on live accounts too.
If you had further researched, you would know, that Janus Trading is the only trading system provider, who publishes real account results.
And you can believe me, we are on RAS since early March 2009 and have closed over 5000 trades.
Also we have at present a rather large and consistent number of subscribers in the RAS systems.
Therefore i can make a statement and i know the weaknesses of RAS EA, since day 1.
What you all are mixing up are the quality of the signal and the realiability of RAS EA to transmit a signal.
This is the key point and nothing else.
There are no special feeds, there are only feeds, which are working better with certain EA`s and it has been discussed many times, that scalping systems need a very close attention on the subscribers end.
I can prove, that it is possible to achieve in my RAS system 750, similar results in a subscribers live trading account.
This has nothing to do with the system, it has to do with the superior setup the subscriber(s) are using.
Latency time is what counts to transport/transmit the signal to the subscribers broker.
Signal delay time is and was the biggest weakness of RAS EA.
That certain signal vendors are offering systems, which are not suitable to trade via a remote system aka RAS EA is a question of Due Diligence and not Demo or Live accounts.
A subscriber can easily test the quality of the signal execution via RAS EA.
Clones are made for system vendors to test the dealy times and are not designed to trade in subscriber accounts, since you most likely double the delay time for trade signal execution.

I would be very happy, if a system vendor can only offer a system, which is traded on a live account and has to prove this to the RAS owners.
But it would not change anything on the subscribers end, maybe add much more credibility in the signal seller.
Depending on the trading style of the vendor and the setup on the subscribers end results may be still worse on the subscriber account.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think all the problems come from scalping sistems that need fast execution and little tp. Intraday or long-to medium term systems should not have big problems. Anyway, is there not a RAS EA that send and place the vendor's signals automatically in the account buyer?
I agree. The systems that don't work on RAS are the ones that have small TP's. As a rule I wouldn't trust anything with a TP of less than 15, even that might be pushing it. I would like to see someone using their own signal on a live account though. I think they would get 10 times more customers that way.

I personally think RAS is a good tool for people that want an improvment of their results. One of the problem seems that many vendors "think" they are good traders and, after some sucessful trades, they blow accounts as usual.
But meantime, they have colected a lot of (unhappy) suscriptors and some $.
This is not good, coz buyers lost confidence and they are not willing to pay for signals anymore, damnifing serious traders. Until we dont see signals consistently profitable for at least 6 month, we have to hold our enthusiasm to buy them. But that can harm the enthusiasm of seller, too.
This is an unsolved issue, coz the only way to know the vendors signal quality is to show their trades. I think that when the dust calm down, real traders will shine by their merits and begin to earn good money for everybody, with many loyal followers rushing to join.

i am still scratching my head about so much lack of knowledge and research.
Almost calling it big ignorance.
1.Great that some "posters" here are figuring out just now, that you must run RAS Ea in a subscriber account to receive the signals
2.To setup RAS EA, you must read the user manual and for setup tips, you can read here.
3.If you are subscribed to a system, than you might ask the system vendor for further tips and tricks. Therefore it is necessary to know the subscribers trade setup from a technical standpoint.
4.Test on a Demo account for at least a month
Here is a guideline for my subscribers:
Use only the following MT4 Brokers(list is always updated) for best trading results:
MB Trading US, NFA, not insured
PFG Best, US,NFA,not insured
ATC, US, NFA, depository in the UK with FXCM, insured by law 48k GBP
Broco(consider it is Russian foederation)
Please avoid any Dealing Desk brokers, which will give you lots of requotes in real trading and welcome your deposit but never profits you make, since your profits are their losses.
We have rated InterbankFX as the worst MT4 broker and have a "strong avoid" rating on them.
Please consider a VPS like CNS, NY or SD data center, depending on your brokers latency time. Janus Trading does not support or suggests any home PC trading setups at all for live trading.
In case you like a special setup on one of the brokers "inhouse" servers for superior execution times, please consult us for further info.
Certainly all you fellow specialists, with guestimates, that systems with 10-15 pips profits can not be traded via RAS EA, you did know this already and spent hundreds of hours and opened large live accounts with various brokers to make such statements.
And you demand signal vendors to trade on live accounts only.
You must first do your homework!
Than you must show the proof.
Than you can demand!
Not just step up here and make blunt statements, which are not even correct, nor proven.
There are hundreds of losing trading systems around.The famous Collective2.com website is full of them. Unfortunatly the few, which make money are hard to find, but most of the time overlooked, since the particular system vendor has better things to do than write in forums and deal with selfclaimed protraders.

On a last note:
To believe, that only because a system vendor trades on a real money account, trading this particular system becomes less risky for subscribers is again a wrong and unproven undertaking in the first place.
I suggest, that only systems, which are listed in RAS for at least 6 months andare showing positive results can be opened for subscription.
Unfortunatly RAS developers open every system for subscription soon after listing.
This is hurting potential subscribers and allow picking systems , which crash shortly after listing.

Still i am having a problem, understanding the frustration from many newly registered members in here. There seems to be a lot of confusion about RAS, RAS EA, listed vendors, background of each vendor and so on.
