Just few comments: Igorad told to the author that his Fisher is re-painted mistakenly (3rd case) ... and it was the discussion between 2 programmers ... and Igorad created non-repainting versions (2nd case in our example) ...

It is interesting thread.

the re-painting means 'continuing painting the past'.

I remember fxbs corrected me for that when I said that MTF is re-painting.

yes, continuos painting... future in the past : ))

MTF:

4hour bar close in 5min TF -may be way in the future (240/5= 48 bars ahead)

with mtf -

we can put TF straight witout "streaching" on tf/period() - as in EAs (Primajaya filters)

or - we can take -off all filling in-between lines or bars - and leave only current - as regular ind (gaps from dot to dot (bar to bar)

- no repainting : )))))))))))))))
