also forgot to mention , im on a windows 2000 right now. but the first time i downloaded the file it worked fine, I should have never tinkered with it.

You should see the unblock button if you have last updates installed, specially the ones referred to chm management.

About the PDF, problem is (maybe) because you've chosen to click the "open with" option and then ticked "Always open this files with the selected program" (or something like this). You need to change the default program to open chm files.

I was able to succesfully download it and open it. But when I attempted to convert it to pdf, it didnt open it. now Im trying to change it back to chm and each time i try to download it, it continues to open it in pdf actually all of my chm files are now opening in pdf, and when I go back to the properties of the file to change it back i dont have the chm type of file to choose from. I dont have an unblock button either. this is very strange

May be you do not have buttom 'Unblock'.

But you should have button 'Change'.

Using this button you can change pdf to any other program (to chm type for example).

Text "TOO BIG"

I was able to download the file and able to open it, but when I do the

text is so LARGE that one word takes up almost the entire page of the

document. You have to scroll far to the right just to read one or two

words and then scroll down for the next few words. It is Totally un-

readable as it is now. I have looked at the properties of the file and

there are no options to re-size the text. When I try and print I have

the same problem. Only 5 lines of text per page and one word per line.

So all I get when printing is the first word of each line for 5 lines.

This is Totally un-readable as it is now anyone else having this problem?

And most importantly how do I fix it???

This will show my probelm. I went to the web page where the Book

is listed and even downloaded the file from there also; but the same

problem. Then I realized something is Bad Wrong. When I open the

file and try to print--it says that it is 69 pages total. As I looked at

the website (with the book online) and compared that to what was

on the file I downloaded I found that this is ALL that I have when

I open the file and this little bit takes 69 pages to print. Listed

here is what's on my downloaded file...

That's it...Nothing else...If I click the Forward or Back button at the top

it does nothing. And like I stated the text is so Large that it would take

69 printed pages just to print that. And then it would still not be complete

because it is not printing the complete line because of the size of the text.

What could be causing this and how can I fix it???
