Forex vs Poker - page 12

Forex is like chess, but without dice.

Still no answer on how Forex can be rigged. Poker - easy, "scam" rooms just show everyone cards for "super users". Here is an example. It's not practiced anymore (I hope) after big scandals in the past, but give me just quick example of Forex rigging?

Well maybe not Forex but perhaps the mechanism can be applied :X

According to me Both Forex and Poker needs some strategy to win. But Poker is mostly into the gambling area compared to forex.

Understanding how to "play the odds" in your trading is just as important for active day and swing traders as it is for world-class tournament poker players... probably even more so.

...because traders keep making the same mistakes, betting the wrong charts, at the wrong time, and completely screwing up their exits. I've seen it all. And I've made those mistakes myself, early on in my trading career. We've all done it... the key is, how to get better?

Trading should not be anything like gambling. Professional poker players know this when it comes to their game, too -- they try to take as much risk out of their play as possible...and so should you. I'll teach you.

In playing poker and blackjack, I've found, for example, that average retail gamblers do just that -- they gamble, taking foolish chances on hands that have low odds.... either they're ignorant, stubborn, or both.

Forex CAN be gambling if you just jump in with a little bit of knowledge and a lot of arrogance. Otherwise, I think most people are like me... trying to learn as much as they can so it becomes NOT so much of a gamble.

We are not told all that we should know - or else it would be clear that we are dragged into gambling. See the data and what happened to some brokers after the SNB decision : it is clear that we have been lied by brokers for a very long time and that we were dragged into gambling game without knowing anything about the details (that were hidden from us all the time)

Does not matter if we do not want to gamble, if the broker makes a casino instead of brokerage

Here is the question though.... if someone is not required to tell you information, is that a lie? Especially when you are, in effect, selling a product? Interesting quandary. Lack of full disclosure (but a legal lack) may be morally wrong, but.....

yes like poker game
