Maybe a better question would be 'how many of you have been consistently profitable for over a year', this would eliminate the HAS MA weenies who think that a couple of weeks without a margin call is being 'profitable'
Ever consider that traders are a superstitious lot by nature and don't want to jinx things by responding?.....

after trying different systems i saw from different area,now i return to the basic smma8-smma13 cross,maybe it's suitable for me,just part-time trading man.

from the looks of the poll it appears evenly matched. i must admit there is no perfect indicator/signal, but i find that forex-tsd have provided me with more than enough to research and use.
im just gonna list the ones that i think are pretty cool at the moment it may or may not help you but its certainly helped me.
xpMA, heiken ashi(ones by raf), VQ(by raf), labtrends (by igor), braintrend, prosource (aka envolppes), mba thesis thing, MACD, volatility pivot.The title of this thread should be corrected.
yea i dont know what this talk about profitability is coming from. what i meant was how man are you when ur trading yes.
Since 1997 I search in several forums for succesful traders who want to manage one of my accounts.
I was in contact with over 500 traders I selected 12 traders that make me a good ROI.
All the rest was not consistance enough.
That's about 2%.
I think at forex-tsd, this % is not higher then that.

I think at forex-tsd, this % is not higher then that.Correct but you should consider this, you found 500 traders, those 500 were people that didn't had enough money to trade, that's the reason why they contacted you.
Most of the time, good traders are not looking for job or other people money.
The good ones already had the money they need or the job they want and they will not contact you.
It's like to try to hire a Rock Star, they will not contact you unless you are a well know Productor.
A good trader with a proven track record will look to get a job in a bank or Warren Buffer, Goldman Sachs, etc
The only traders available for a normal small investor will be the mediocre and newbies ones trying to build their track record.

Correct but you should consider this, you found 500 traders, those 500 were people that didn't had enough money to trade, that's the reason why they contacted you.
I contacted them, and only those who claimed to have a winning system.
Most of the time, good traders are not looking for job or other people money.
The good ones already had the money they need or the job they want and they will not contact you.

Over that I need to take the time first to understand his trading and money management.
All those things are for me a full time job (but it pays good)
