hi freinds,

this is my first post on this great forum....

looking ahead for a nice ride....

i am a new trader....

and need some advise...regarding repainting of indicators...

i have a macd stochastic indicator which gives arrows on the chart.....

now i wanted to know whether it repaints or not....

so i started a backtest using lfh trading simulator in mt4

now it aint repainting as far as i can see with my naked eye and i am ok with it...

1) but whats disturbing me is the arrows it shows in backtest ....when i open a normal live chart and scroll back to same date and timing...

the arrow is 2 days later or earlier in same cases....

now what does it mean ??

2) also as soon as i apply the indicator...at first there is all clustered arrows and then after a second....only few arrows are present thereafter ....i mean only during the first apply and for a few seconds it is seen....and later during entire trade or even weeks i dont see any extra or unwanted clustered arrows...

3) thirdly in normal there are no new arrows formed in back testing except when i scroll back which already came when the back testing started....other than that the macd is also flat

infact i even closely wait for long time.....it does not produce any arrows in the back test while in normal live chart it shows arrows......

please help me on this....

thanks to all

No, grails never repaint

They just change the perception of past
