Making a point.... - page 4

It seems like the US gov'mt is one of the very few countries that will try to get money out of any way they can. Even if you work overseas, they will want you to pay taxes on your earnings, now isn't that a joke? Some of us work overseas for the benefit and excitement it has to offer, but then to see the IRS ask for their share of it is unfair. On the other hand, I can see why they do it.....

Anyhow, Larry Williams isn't the first that try to avoid paying taxs so I don't see it as any big news. They always say the rich will try to avoid taxes, and they may also be the cheapest. I have seen stories where people make millions and not have to pay taxes becuase of tax loopholes. Larry Williams could've used a good accountant in this case. I do not believe that you would find anyone in this world that wants to pay taxes not unless they are just a plain idiot.

Once in awhile I see how many is claiming how great their EAs, and both commercial and non-commercial systems are, the fact is that the pairs are trending well these days. I don't see anyone bragging when the market is range bound. Just newbies should be aware of this, and not think this is my road to riches....

:'(

It's clear from reading your initial post regarding Larry Williams that you had no idea who he was when you wrote it. Your ignorance astounds me, only superceded by your attempt to hide it in post#21 and subsequent musings.

I'm sure a few traders have had tax/legal issues before:-

George Soros?...bought down the Bank of England and made 1 billion dollars in one day.

Thanks for the amusing tax sideline though....LOL. Don't worry...I'm sure the IRS will see you as exempt...

You need to make a profit first....
