I've double check in strategy tester and it doesn't seem to repaint it self at all. Do you have a better Indicator to propose? I want to manually swingtrading oanda. I need alert on my blackberry email to me by the SendMail function in MT4.

Many people asked and it was evaluated already many times. You are talking about SHI_SilverTrendsig indicator.

Yea, it definitely does repaint the past. Doesn't refresh either. Still, I did get 130 pips last night on a signal with it. 
Just exited this trade because after refreshing I saw the blue dot. If trading this one I'd be down 50 pips already. Does anyone know if the buy/sell dots disappear or only reposition themselves? To what extent does it repaint the past? Thanks.
I traded using this indicator. Traded live posting the trades in the forum. Sorry can not find it now. It was some system which I created.
Yeah you right! It does not refresh! Need to change time frame for it to refresh! Does not mean it's useless... I grab 43 pips yesterday night on Eur. Mr newdigital, i know the board is full of strategy, and I read somewhere (don't remember where , i've read so much) that this indicator was better than asctrend and braintrend.
I go read the links u gave now, but can you say right away what indicator i need for what i describe? Does it exist already, or do i need to code it myself?? Do you know of a better version or another indicator that work the same and that refresh properly AND does not redraw? Sorry for asking, i hope i'm not off topic here.. TIA mr newdigital... This indicator may be useful. I created some system with Ichimoku and this indicator on M15 timeframe and traded live (on demo). It is in asctrend thread or in channel system thread somewhere here https://www.mql5.com/en/forum
This indicator can get some "attention" to you about possible buy or possible sell. And the signals from this indicator is coming much more earlier than zigzag even.
- So you will have signal from SHI_SilverTrendsig indicator first. But this indicator is painting the past. So if you have the signls it means "be ready for sell" or "be ready for buy".
- I am using High/Low zigzag. This idicator is painting the past as well.
- Then you should have at least one indicator which is not painting the past (to trade). I used Ichimoku and asctrend.
- Not every "be ready ..." is transferming onto real confirmed signal.
So SHI_SilverTrendsig indicator may be used for "be ready ..." only.
I will try to find this my system posted to somewhere.

I like this indicator wich seem no brainer easy to follow. I'm currently trading a live account at oanda so i would need a SendMail alert feature to it, also is there is an EA base on it? I have this blacberry on me all the time! I check mt4 editor but can't figure it out!. TIA. Maybe someone may point to better way of doing it but i still need sendmail alert please!
