Does anyone know if Heiken Ashi indicators repaint the past?

No it does not.

 

All indicators follow the price

but there is one thing that i like about Heiken Ashi

U CAN USE IT FOR SWING

just place it in the 4H frame

and wait for strong daily or weekly sup/res

and enter on the Heiken Ashi signal on 4H

Thank you for this information. How do you determine what weekly support/resistance is? Is there an indicator for MT4?

murray math is good for support and resistance also pivot points

run a search on forum for the correct threads...

There is no magic to this, there is no magic indicator ...anything is subject to fail make sure you do your homework

Well I'm sufficiently rebuked for not learning support and resistance levels, thank you. However, is it possible that my ignorance stems from posts such as this, which amount to a passing "read the forum" with no practical direction as to how to learn support and resistance levels?

As long as you know what support and resistance IS, the best way to "learn" about it is to watch a lot of currencies for a lot of time and also on different time frames (i.e. experience). One pitfall to watch for--S&R is more like an area, not a particular price... and also, just because price 'breaks' S&R doesn't mean it will keep going. Sometimes price just probes S&R. I use support and resistance A LOT in my trading, but I don't really use any indicators to determine where it is...it takes time to get a good understanding of this concept, but it is a very powerful concept. Indicators may help with this, but they may not... I'm not sure exactly how this applies to heiken ashi.

Can Heikin-Ashi repaint in current (open) bar??, Can this change color more than once? I have no experience with this...
