What would you use as your exit point? What have you seen as the best indicator to use as an exit without losing all those PIPs?

i am currently using parabolic sar for exit. but sometimes the trend isn't over yet and you have to re-enter...

Any idea about sar settings in different time frames:

i am trying step 0.01 on the 5min

and 0.02 on the 15min onward...

 

I have never used the SAR for exits, I will look into it. I use Pivot Points as profit targets..... But as you said, no matter what, sometimes one has to re-enter a position because the move may continue further up....

 

3 EMAS signals

hi all,

i tried to code a signal indicator for the 3emas.

i need the help of someone to develop the indicator to:

- go long when the price bounce on one of the 3 emas with macd histo confirmation.

i needed to show the start of the euro move yesterday.

go long when:

1- macd histogram >0

2- the distribution of the emas is as follows:

ema14 > ema34 > ema50

go short when:

1- macd histogram <0

2- the distribution of the emas is as follows:

ema 14 < ema34 < ema50

the market keep on moving sideways till the 2 confirmations are realized.

and DT ZigZag

actually DT ZigZag repaints.

just found this thread and i am really amazed about the zigzag indicator.Can you tell me pliz how it repaints?'cause i have my kitchen that needs a fresh coat

As for your kitchen paint work i would advise some kind of resine bases paint.
