Bollinger Squeeze w/ CCI 50 / iGentor CCI
Hello Nnjeim,
I discovered the Bollinger Squeeze, which I posted in an earlier pix, the iGentor CCI and your MTF CCI, all work well in combination. Using the (+) (-) 49 line entries is dynamite.
Values:
BB Squeeze (v8) is set to (2/14/50/14)
iGentor CCI (v12.1.0) 14/50/6/3
(I removed all histo color on the iGentor and only left value 5-the line indicator).
*MTF CCI (240/50/5)
Hope this helps.

CCI_Filter settings........
kindly find the updates indicator v1 and v1 mtf
- change in cci calculation (typical price instead of close)
cheers,NNJEIM, thank you for updating these. I must admit they have prevented me from stressing too much. I do find the setting of 34 to suit my interpretation, but I still test-run the setting at 50 to see what is best for me.
Any comment? I see you are testing even higher TFs?
Best weekend.

hi valeo,
i am using cci filter v0.3
v0.3 takes into count two ccis (50 & 14) for instance
and 2 trigger levels (100 and -100) by default.
the indicator's bars color change as follows:
1. red when both ccis are below -100 (trend is strongly bearish)
2. orange when cci (50) -100
3. blue when both ccis are above +100
4. light blue when cci(50) >0 and <100
this scenario simulates dr. bob's studies in color. therefore a shift from blue to reds and vice versa is a possible indication of change in trend and is a potential signal.
i realized that 50/14 setup is valid and very safe on higher TF (30min and above)
the 50/14 entries are relatively late. i've been experimenting on the
34/14 and 14/6.
i use this indicator all along 3 emas (14/34/50). following dr bob:
1. 5034 setup :enter when price closes above(below) ema34 when cci(50) points in the same direction.
2. 5014 setup(trend continuation) enter when cci14 goes 0 and then closes in the direction of the cci(50)
what is interesting is that you can isolate the 5014 and 5034 by color change without displaying the ccis.
check my post 3emas in the manual trading section.
cheers,

can anyone suggest an idea to filter the signals generated by ccifilter on lower time frames?
