Lenny:
While we are at the subject of Elliott Waves and indicators, here is a link to the interview with Robert Miner

http://www.traderinterviews.com/programs/07-18-06_Robert_Miner.asx

He proides much better explanation about EW and indicators than I could. So for those who are looking where EW fit and how to apply it listen to the interview. It is well worth 15 minutes of your time.

Another one with Robert Miner you might like. His trading against Woodie using cci

http://www.woodiescciclub.com/Lectures/miner/miner-sept-2005.html

Indicators are just that "indicators" price is the leading indicator. Fibonacci and Gann signals are all many traders use.

Why do you think Krymar does not use indicators, he does not need them, all he needs is Fibonacci and pattern reconition, you could learn alot from him

Thank you! I did watch that video before. I did not find it very usefull as Miner was not using his methodology there.

Agreecwith you abou Fibonacci and Gann.

Who is Krymar?

There is nothing special going on today? ..

yen is floating around between todays high and low ofcourse taking today's high would be good signal for startup of wave(5) from the previous chart.

Lenny: Kamyar is a very good trader here on FOREX TSD and has his thread about harmonic trading here https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/173588 .. He writes very clear and expectations are also very clear i always read his thread very informative.

Let me know when you are getting Elwave. I have been using it and it isa very good product. The main issue is not enough quality documentation. Jonnydenver69 provides a great deal of good information about Elwave

Lenny i am not yet planning to buy the software yet either elwave or the other ew programs i want to get some grip first .. i thought about buying it again today but then decided to first work more towards the theory .. what good it would be if i dont have a grasp on the theory and go with the software i think it wont help ? .. i need time to first learn the theory , see what pattern works and when and in what conditions.

EACAN.

As Miner said in his interview, you can pick up Elliott Wave theory in a few hours. Many people are making too complicated for academic reasons and are forcing the issues. Elliott Waves isjust one of the "indicators" and not the only one or primary one.

I have learned a lot by reading Miner and applying his principals to my trading. Here is the a link to his book, trading course and user manual (free downloads) http://www.yourtrader.org/dt.html. His Elliott Wave approach is very simple and practical.

Elwave is a great and powerfull tool. It combines all the multi time frames and enables you to do price and time projection which is fairly accurate if you learn how to use it. JD has demonstrated the power of the tool in his theread
