It is a strictly manual indicator (in the manner that user has to define the control points) "Defining" control points is easy : in the parameters choose the number of control points (PointsNumber parameter), control points prefix (PointsPrefix parameter) and control points initial spacing (PointsIntialBarsSpacing parameter) you wish to use.

Alternative_Ichimoku_cfb_mtf indicator was programmed for Advanced Elite section. Alternate Ichimoku with look back controlled by cfb the external parameter SSK adds bars back to cfb calculations, also added mtf and alerts which goes off when histo's start to change color.
What is CFB?
CFB tells you how long the market has been in a quality trend. This value can be used to adjust the period length of other indicators, especially stochastic bands. In order to quantify the overall duration of a market's trend, we replaced classical cycle analysis methods (FFT, MEM, MESA) with a form of analysis that works even when no cycles exist. We accomplished this by examining a time series for specific fractal patterns of any size. We then gather all the patterns found and combine them into one overall index
This Alternative_Ichimoku_cfb_mtf indicator can be good addition to advanced elite trading systems such as Simple Ichimoku System for MT4 and MT5, and Simple Ichimoku Scalping.

A good thing about well defined interpolations (and cubic spline is a well defined interpolation) is that it is very easy to turn them "upside down" - to make them extrapolate instead to interpolate. And this version has both : interpolation based on user defined points, and then, as a sort of "prediction", an extrapolation to the future of the last defined point by required bars.

TDI smoothed & alerts 2 was programmed for elite section. On this indicator : arrow and alert are showing when red line crossing yellow line. Means: one more option is added : alertsOnSignalLineCross. If it is set to true, it works as before. If it is set to false, then alerts (and arrows) are raised when the "price" line (the blue line) crosses average (yellow) line. Thanks to Mladen.
