Time filter

Is the time filter already set up or do I need to learn how to set it up?

newdigital:
Igorad coded it with timefilter (attached). Use this settings https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/173370/page14 (except timefilter).

Set up for Alpari broker. it should be different settings for other brokers.

It's nothing to learn.

Tmefilter is related to the Metatrader time. Time in MetaTrader depends on the broker: different broker - different time.

Timefilter bset up fopr Alpari broker. Alpari broker is on GMT+1 now. IBFX is on GMT+0.

If you see in the settings:

8 - 17

so

it is for GMT+1 (winter) or GMT+2 (summer).

For IBFX it will be 7 - 16.

So if my broker is GMT+0 then I should set my start time 8 and my stop time 17? is that right? That would make it 8am to 5pm my time. So with time filter and only want to trade any of the pairs 8am to 5pm my time. Is is not different for each pair?

If I do not want to trade on Sunday should I set the start and stop both at 0 and 0.

Please tell me if this is right?

Your local time and my local time does not matter in case of timefilter.

For Alpari broker I am using 8 - 17 (sometimes 8 - 18).

In case of IBFX it will be 7 - 16 (or 7 - 17).

Alpari is on GMT+1 now.

IBFX is on GMT+0.

1 hour difference.

It means that

8 am bar on H1 timeframe for Alpari timeframe

will be same bar as

7 am bar on H1 timeframe for IBFX.

Alpari broker is on GMT+1 now (GMT+2 in summer). It is Alpari broker time.

Mostly the traders are living using their broker time.

Ask very active trader about his local time:

"What is time now?"

And you will receive reply:

"07:50 Alpari"

or

"06:60 IBFX"....

Goldwarrior EA is not connected with RAS yet so it is the performance for this week (Goldwarrior EA, Alpari broker):
