Can't install mt4

Can anyone tell me why I can't install mt4?

I've downloaded the mt4setup file correctly, but once installed I realize that mt5 is installed instead!!

It seems that you can't at the moment. So choose a broker and download from them

But why? I could if I am not mistaken just a month ago.

I don't want to use any borker's tool. Broker is a broker.

And Metaquotes likes to push MT5 and hides all download links for MT4. 

Even with an old mt4setup.exe you'll get MT5 installed. (tested today). 

 

So you have to use the link from an MT4 broker or switch to MT5.

It has been years since you could download MT4 from Metaquotes. You can only get it from a broker's website.
