Debugging on History Data MT4

Hi guys,


I'm trying to debug my EA on history data and the option on the menu is always disabled. I see it works fine with real data.

I already did the necessary setting under Tools -> Options -> Debug tab and the menu option is still grayed out.

I found some old topics about this subject but they couldn't help me.

Hope you don't say I'll have to log all the information :)

ive tried the same and havnt found a solution. pls let me know if you come up with a way of doing this. debugging is such a great tool in devleopment and really a shame if wont work on historical data....

This is feature available in the MT5 only.
