Hi


I can't find any process to resolve the problem.

My EA isn't working anymore on MT4 574.

I have also another MT4 broker with build 500 and EA works.


What should i do?

574 was a beta. current version is 602

I have updated my MT4 so now my build is 600.


But my EA still doesn't work ; (

  • What error# and messages do you get?
  • What do you expect to happen which isn't happening?
  • What does your troubleshooting print statements reveal?
  • How far into the trading logic does it get ... where does it fail?
  • I cannot see your codes that you're having problems with.
 

I simply copied my EA into new folder for 600 build into MQL4/Experts...

Then I run both MT4 in the same time with same parameters for the EA: Broker_1 509 VS Broker_2 600

Only old version (509) si working fine.


I can't see any error messages into tab experts.


Anyone is not experiencing such same problems?

What does that means "doesn't work" ? Do you really believe that we can help you with this "information ?


Current build is 603.

 

How could I know what is happening?

My EA works on build 509.... If I try it into under 600 build. => Nothing happen. (no error, no trades)

Who wrote the EA code?

If you did not write the code, then you will have to contact the author in order to fix it for the newer version of MT4.

If you wrote it then you will have to debug it and see if any of the changes announced for this new version of MT4 has been contemplated.

Did you write the code yourself?

If you did, and you require help, you will need to post your code

If you didn't write it yourself, you will probably need to contact the author.

EDIT: I had this page open a while before I replied, so now see that FMIC had already posted much the same as me.
